closed, judgmental
– scared of the
unknown selves …
fear is the truth
for many so
those who
break out of
a mold
that someone else
holds for them
shines like a brand
new penny
those who berate and bully
to keep you in a hole
that makes them feel
more powerful or strong
– a pigeonhole?
what pigeon would stay
when it has wings to
fly away and let
others watch from
a distance their
freedom to live as
they will and
not swallow
another’s bitter pill.
