Revenge is a dish best served cold, or so I’ve heard.
It’s tough, we’re all so busy these days. I’m a homeschool Mom, I work (long and hard), and love to play. My friends are like family to me. I pride myself on seeing through people, being able to grasp what they really are about, while kicking the fake friends to the side, and out of my inner bubble.
It’s hard when you realize that someone you trusted with your innermost secrets, really shouldn’t have been trusted. Maybe it’s the Pisces in me, but I have always felt I could see through their bullshit and know who was real and who wasn’t. As I get older, and more distracted with life, I have realized I’m not as good as I used to be. I have had a few close friends in the past that I really trusted, who turned out to be people that I didn’t even recognize when the light of day hit them.
Fake people like to show you the side of them you want to see. They are great around you, love and seem to enjoy what you enjoy, just as long as you’re doing what they like or can use you for some reason. It’s when situations change that you see the real person, and who they really were all along. I am always surprised when this happens. I trust close friends unconditionally, take in their woes and hurts, and always try to help.
So what do you do when you have obviously been used or screwed over? Do you get revenge? Do you stoop to their level and tell all their secrets? Become evil and vindictive?
Let’s say you have a little bit of a dark side, or maybe you just need some help venting? Below are few little “Bytes of Life” from around the web that might help you settle your issues … or at least make you cackle with glee.
Nefarious Jobs: Their services aren’t cheap but if you’re looking for REALLY getting revenge this company does it all.
PoopSenders.com: Looking for a great gag gift? Has someone really pissed you off? Don’t get mad, GET EVEN. Send that special someone a big stinky pile of poop.
Fake Greeting Cards: They may look innocent enough, but these cards pack a punch! These greeting cards offer a special and simple way to express how you really feel. You can even write your own special message inside the card to really get your point across. Not for the faint of heart!
Fake Embarrassing Packages: This is too funny. From embarrassing envelopes, humiliating parcels to downright scandalous letters. Shipped anonymously by international airmail to your victim, each “package” is as offensive as is legally possible. Make your choice, provide us with your victims address and we will do the rest.
Send Dead Fish or Flowers to an Enemy: This is just crazy. From the site: There’s nothing that gets your message across better than a smelly, nasty dead fish! These packages are very popular and are most often sent to ex-boyfriends/girlfriends, backstabbing friends, or anyone who has pissed you off.
Send Black Roses: I love black roses but a lot of people see them as a sign of death or something evil. If you have an enemy who feels that way then you’ll love this final site.
It must be said that I don’t recommend using any of the services listed above. I’m definitely not a revenge seeker. When I have been wronged by a fake friend, I can tell you what I do … absolutely nothing. Yes it’s true, I said nothing. I’m a gentle soul, and a HUGE believer in karma. Getting revenge or being catty, and stooping to their level solves nothing. In the long run, it will hurt you more than them. Being the bigger person, learning from your mistakes is always the better way. Through mistakes and failure, we grow as individuals. Learning to keep your bubble clear of fake friends is a lesson of life. So when bad things happen you don’t have to be hurt, look at it with the eyes of your soul. Learn from the lesson and implement change in your life. If not …well re-read the links above!

Taking the time to comment because what you wrote is 100% relatable & True. Thanks for writing what I was feeling.
love it!
I love this post, funny and provocative! You had me at the title!
Love this. I find steering clear of crappy friends is the best thing you can do. Living a happy life is the best revenge anyway. 🙂
