Inner Selves

I want a life that is not
chastised by the
faces and forces
of gloating, scheming, self-important,
really unimportant, ignorant to bliss,
lacking in subtleties of empathetic
presences of energy,
hiding behind inner shelves that will
crumble in the existence
of truth
that has nothing to do with their
purported proof
of another way of
life that will only
be obliterated, ended,
halted and stifled
in the mirror of this being a spoof.
